About Mr. Mike Strople

As Vice-President Technology Development, Mr. Strople is accountable for providing world-class network architecture and technology for the MTS Allstream network in support of current and future network and market requirements. This includes setting architectural direction, evaluating and selecting new technology, developing and implementing new services and network lifecycle planning.

Mr. Strople has been with MTS Allstream since October 2005. Prior to joining MTS Allstream he consulted with major North American service providers and equipment vendors on projects including wireless data and IP telephony. Prior to the consulting practice, he was with Nortel Networks for 11 years where he held various technical and customer facing positions.

Mr. Strople holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He is a licensed professional engineer in the Province of Ontario and a Project Management Professional. Mr. Strople is also on the Advisory Board for the University of Toronto’s Masters of Engineering in Telecommunications Executive Development Program.
