About Dr. Vinod Ratti

Director Edmonton Operations and Director Technology & Development

Vinod has a background in research and business. He has worked in research, Information Technology and technology transfer. He has more than twenty years of experience in IT systems and planning and over fifteen years of experience in technology transfer. At TRLabs, Vinod manages Edmonton lab operations and helps facilitate transfer of technology from TRLabs to its industrial partners and third parties. He helps develop collaborative technology projects with TRLabs partner companies and third party clients. These projects provide a key mechanism for transfer and commercialization of TRLabs technologies, and help associated companies grow their business. Vinod received a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the University of Alberta.
